Our Story

Merritt International is a family-owned tableware company with office and distribution facilities based in Sun Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles. Founded in 2005, the heartbeat of our manufacturing business has always been on product design. Merritt prides itself on being a leader in the plastic tableware industry. Our company was one of the first to push the evolution of melamine from inexpensive, light-weight plastic plates to high-end, heavy-weight tableware that is both unbreakable and elegant. Our team has achieved this using innovative textures, intricate embossing, boutique shapes, and special glazes. The company stands apart from others with our proprietary technique of making plastic look and feel like something it's not: ceramic, pottery, stone, or wood.

Merritt is known for creating designs every year that "Wow" our customers who can't believe our dishes and drinkware are plastic.
